Some Great Weblinks

Here are some great links to catch-up with us:

The first link is out local newspaper. The second link is NK's school. The third link is Norway's English language newspaper. The third-fifth are travel and fact sites about Norway. The lawzone site is full of Norwegian recipes. The sixth link for daughtersofnorway is a site for a ladies Norwegian American group in Des Moines, Iowa. The last link is for the Sons of Norway an American group of Norwegian nuts (sorry...Norway is so blah for me, it is hard to understand the enthusiasm) which has a great Norwegian language self-guided program. So good luck with your Norwegian!

Seeing God

Jellyfish near Myklebust farm

In the last post, a commenter asked how I recognized God in the face of another. The question is a good one. I don't know if the phenomenon is unique to near death experiences. I have heard of people in disasters and people facing dispair who see God in the face of another person. An angel...maybe. The face is one of calm, peace, stability, hope and reassurance.

Since my near death experience I have tried to do things in my life to create a better sense of connectedness to God, and my surroundings. I love loud music, fast cars, sparkling gems and intense debate, but learning about slow living has made an incredible impact in my life. Go to Google and type "slow living" in the browser. Also type in "slow food". The movement is all about uncluttering your life, your body and your mind. Tell me what you find.
